Silvertip, you are right about my motor and drive. I went further with the info you gave me and got the proper info on my motor now, thanks. Since reinstalling the carb with the gaskets the correct way - I Installed the breather tubes from the manifold after finding much less fuel coming out the vents. Seems like minimal blow by now. Fuel pump remains suspect.

The only way the fp could couse the vapor is if it was leaking gas into the block, then there would be gas in the oil. But if its not marine its recommended you change it.
