I have oil leaking or seems to be from where my spark plugs are installed in the head. Is this normal? Or is there a problem motor is running great now just not sure of the oil. Thanks.

Sort of normal for a 38 year old motor. Either the threads are worn and loosened up somewhat, or there are helicoils installed that are leaking a bit. Just make sure that the plugs (Champion, I hope) are tightened to the right torque. Don't be tempted to overtighten; that's how they get stripped and loose. If it's running good, I wouldn't worry about it.

They shouldn't be leaking if torqued right. The gaskets are shot or missing. OR, as suggested I'll bet they have been stripped and the holes have Heli-Coils in them. Unless done properly, it is very difficult to get them straight and they will leak. Too late to do anything about it now.
