1971 Johnson 40 hp Gearcase Gasket (Seal) Part Number

Working on a 1971 40 hp Johnson. The lower bearing at the water pump is shot. I pulled the lower lower unit cover to retrieve all the needle bearings. Looking at the parts tree I usually use, there is an item #44 shown to be the gasket I need. It is u-shape. The parts list does not contain item #44, no reference at all.
So, can anyone help identify the gasket (seal) that I need?

Normally called the " spaggetti seal " most dealers have a roll of it.
