Hi all this is my second time posting I think I posted in the wrong section before and my post fell to the wayside. Anyhow I am looking for information for this boat I bought recently. It's a 1971 Glaspar V-175 with a 120hp Mercruiser I/O. Got it running this weekend woohoo! Anyhow, when I Google it I find nothing at all really which makes me think that nobody actually has one of these anymore or at least nobody has documented anything on them. So anyone with knowledge of the past or where I could possibly look would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

don't know what kinda info your wanting. if about the boat, i've no good suggestion. though info on the boat would be nice, it's not critical to know. likely everything about the boat, yours and mine, is not by glaspar or aristocraft in my case. everything is aftermarket. steering, cleats, nav. lights etc. much of these items on my boat are perko.

if ya want info on the engine/drive. go to the adults only sticky. http://forums.iboats.com/showthread.php?t=288430
look at #9 for the service manual on your rig. you'll likely want s/m #1. download it and have everything info wise you'll need to work on your engine/drive...

while your there. check out the winterization/summerization thread too. it'll have much pm info in it regaurding things that are necessary to keep an i/o alive and well.

congrats on getting her running.. don't know about mine yet. might be a few more weeks, still kinda cool out, but at least 'most' of the snow is gone, so hopefully the weather is heading in the right direction....

Ah thanks for the reply Ziggy! I got those manuals.... now for some reading. The information about the boat is more about me being curious rather than a need. The boat wasn't exactly what I was looking for but I just couldn't pass it up as it seemed to have a good personality. haha I am going to float it this weekend and pray for no leaks.. haha. Thanks again!
