Hi,
I have a 1970 Mercury 9.8 110 that I just bought (it had been in a basement for 15+ years and running before). It looks to be in excellent condition.
I rebuilt the carb (seals, needle and seat) and put in a new diaphram.
Anyway, it starts after the first few pulls (the first time), but it looks like the carb is leaking fuel at the circular opening next to where the choke arm attaches to the carb.
Anyone know if the leak would flood the carb preventing it from starting?
If it sits for a while, I can come back and start it, but it dies and needs to sit again.
Please help!
Thanks...
