1970? Mercury 1150 PARTS!!!

If somebody could help me locate a lower unit for my 1970 mercury 1150 it would be greatly appreciated. the previous owner took it off and never got around to putting it back on then lost it. So as every body knows you don't go anywhere without that. So I need to know if I can go on eBay and pick on off there or if it has to be specific to the motor. Thanks, Will

A gearcase from any 70s to mid 80s inline 6 motor should fit your motor.

Always check ratios as inline 4 looks just like a inlne6 unit and the old 135 used a 1:78 ratio which you dont want.

use searchtempest.com and seach the craigslist ads from the midwest. target Madison with a 400 mile radius and you will find about a dozen lower units.
