I have a 1966 100HP and have been looking for a parts motor just in case!! I found a 1969 100HP Tower of Power that ran good this summer until reverse went out. I know the ignition system is different but I was thinking if anything major happened to my 66 I could put my lower unit on the 69. Question is will my lower unit fit the 69? The owner of the 69 says he has a prop that will fit my 66 that will not work on his 69 that I can have, but that made me start thinking that maybe my 66 lower unit would not be compatible with his 69. Sorry for the rambling. Thanks for your help.
