Hello all!
the mercury 500 starts and idles @ 800-900 rpm and has a good hole-shot, but I noticed the motor doesnt run @ WOT when the control is maxed out. I noticed that the max throttle is not hitting the max throttle stop and the carb is not opening up all the way. There is about a .250 gap or movement to max throttle.
Should I adjust the throtttle cable @ the base of the motor, or adjust the threaded lever link that connects the throttle advance (apart of the dist).
From what I have read, if I adjust the throttle cable setting I might need to do a Link and sync.
Any thoughts!?
Thanks
