1969 Johnson 40 HP

[The Starcraft Enterprise]

This engine appears to only have on adjustable slow speed needle. Is this correct? Is there a high speed that can be adjusted?

Correct, there is only one low speed adjustment #44 below. The high speed jet is fixed and you cannot adjust it #82 below.

Alright, well its taking longer than usual to accelerate but the engine sounds fine. It takes longer for the engine to handle the influx of fuel but it eventually plains the boat out. Do you know whats happening?
