1969 85 HP Johnson Wiring

I acquired a 1969 85 HP Johnson this weekend and I am going to have to replace the wires from the ignition switch to the outboard and other wires also. Does anyone have in advice or wiring diagrams? Will greatly be appreciated.

If ya' got a library close, they may have some generic service manuals. Most of these have wiring diagrams in the back. Seloc and Clymers. You can also get these from iboats store. Look at the bottom of the page.

Thanks alot!!!!! I went to the public library and got a book that has the wiring schematic in it. The only thing is does not do is tell me what kind of ignition switch to get. Any Advice???
