They were good enough for the US Navy to run in the canals over in vietnam. My friend has a 32ft with twin crusader 300hp and it is built like a tank. He always runs real slow though so I ask him why don't you open this thing up and he says ok watch the fuel flow meter. He firewalls the the throttle and just like that the boat is on plane and burning 32gph+ I was like wow that could get reall pricey in a hurry.
