1968 Rude 40hp Lark forward control.

I have no forward control unit. Since the motor is Selectric shift I am assuming I need an original unit, not something new off the shelf. If this assumption is correct what is the availablility of this unit in the US. Don't like my chances of finding one Down Under. My manual should arrive tomorrow. The loom end plug has at least 10 wires in it, a daunting prospect for the novice like me.

Jai....check out ebay. The controls sometime pop up there. Also check with TwinCity outboard. They do a lot of old stuff. I got the link but my desktop is having a tantrum and I can't find my favorites.
