Howdy, Howdie. Did you have spark before you replaced the solenoid?? Did you disconnect/service anything other than the solenoid? Did you jump or short any wires associated with the ignition (key switch?) with the switch on?<br /><br />The red wire going into the ignition "amp" should have 12v when the switch is ON.<br /><br />The black/white wire should read 0 ohms to ground in pulses when you rotate the flywheel (power OFF to take resistance measurements).<br /><br />The blue wire into the coil should measure some low number of ohms to ground and the high voltage lead from the coil to the distributor should read a somewhat larger resistance.<br /><br />If all of the above check out you have probably accidentally blown your amp.<br /><br />What is more likely is that you left something off somewhere.<br /><br />Red sky at night. . . <br />JB
