There is no "the" proper compression for this engine, Dano.<br /><br />Measurements will differ a lot with different guages, different techniques, etc., etc.<br /><br />I wouldn't worry about a little Johnny that gave me over 70lb with the 2 cylinders within 10% of each other.<br /><br />Good luck.
