I have a '67 model 110 that needs a cylinder block cover gasket and the nylon tell tale fitting on top of the block, it is the little 1/4" elbow fitting on top of the engine that attaches to the rubber tube that runs down to tell tail pipe. The problem is, everything single online catalog I look at is telling me my serial number is not found when I go to look up the part numbers. I can find these items for later model engines, but have not had luck finding them for the '67. So I am wondering how many years were these exact same parts used, I have looked at them for other years and they look the same, so would I be correct in thinking they would be interchangeable on my motor? I even checked here on IBoats, no items listed in their online catalog.

My serial number is #2287545 which falls in the 1967 model year.

Thanks.

that should be a natl pipe thread?? -therefore use a brass 90 degree elbow from auto parts! likely is a 1/16 or 1/8!! pipe thread!id bet 1/8th! is yours removed or broken off? napa should have that !.

Not broken, Just leaking and can't be tightened without breaking it off.

Here's your parts diagram, you'll want to look at reference numbers 8 & 28 on the diagram:

http://www.marine engine.com/parts/mercury-outboard-parts/110/1865779-thru-2798056/cylinder-block-and-crankcase-assembly

Copy the address to your browser and take out the space between "marine" and "engine" (this site parses links to competitor's websites).

Hope that helps..........ed
