Hi guys, looks like I had a 1967 Mercury 350 serial # 2097230 dropped off in my garage because the engine had bearing failure on one cylinder. I took it apart and the one piston head is toast and the cylinder walls are scored. Looks like the needle bearings go jammed between the piston head and the cylinder wall. I have all winter to tinker with this and look for parts on e-bay. Kinda like a pet project.<br /><br />I think I've read that we cannot hone out the cylinders so I'll see if I can find a used block which I possibly have already done.<br /><br />Does anybody have an identical motor that has another type of problem and they'd like to part it out?<br /><br />Also, I see there's a Mercury 350M and a 350S. Can somebody tell me what the M and S mean?<br /><br />Any help would be appreciated.<br /><br />Dymo
