AFTER A LITTLE RESEARHC I FOUND THAT THE FUEL PUMPS THAT FIT ON 4.5-15 HP MOTORS ALL THE THE SAME FUEL PUMP...

MY QUESTION IS ABOUT THE PARTS NUMBER ?

THE IMPELLER FOR THIS MOTOR FITS ON THE 9.2 9.6 9.9 10 12 15 HP MOTORS.....

SO DOES THAT MEAN THAT ALOT OF MOTORS HAVE A BUNCH OF PARTS FOR THEM BUT TECHNICALLY GO ON OTHER MOTORS TOO ???

THIS MAY BE A STUPID QUESTION BUT IM STILL LEARNING :)

From 8 horsepower up to 15, many of the parts were the same. The 8 did use a smaller lower unit and propshaft, though, while the block and other components were basically the same. While blocks did appear the same, they did have different bore and stroke, however, in most cases, all the ignition and fuel parts were interchangeable.

You will find the same thing true about the larger 3 and 4 cylinder engines too.

Smaller than 8, the engines were mostly different and while small parts like fuel pumps will still swap, most other parts will not.
