Hi,

Why is the original service manual for this outboard motor so hard to find? I've found plently of the Parts Catalog and Supplement manual, but not just the plain old service manual. 1968, 1969....easy to find service manuals. Not so for 1967. What am I missing here?

Thanks!

Thanks!

$73 for a manual? I don't need an original copy in "collector's" condition. Lol. And yet the following year, 1968, the service manual is $33. Something obviously is up with the 67 to 68 year changeover.

$73 is chump change compared to what it will save you in wasted work and bux over the years, tml.

I agree with JB. If you are doing your own fixing it will same both time and money and less typing on the forum too! You can do a search on Ebay and save the search and when one goes up for sale you will get an email about it. Works for me unless I'm in a hurry.
Best of luck. Rick.

Understood. I'm still curious to know why the 67 one is more than double the price of the following year.

I mean no disrespect by the way, thanks for the replies of help.
