1966 sea king outboard

I recently inherited a 1966 sea king 9.6 outboard. I have no gas line or tank. what do I need and what should the gas mixture be.

Well for starters, a tank, some quality fuel line, a priming fuel bulb, of course the gas/oil mixture (more than likely 50:1, 50 parts gas to one part oil), but before you try to start it check the plugs and general overall things under the cowling to see it anything looks broken or wrong. There are so many other things you would have to do if it doesn't crank and/or run. How long it has sit will play a huge role in what you should do before starting it as well. If you bought it from somebody that has been using it all along, then try starting it. BUT if it sat for six months or longer, you may want to change out the water impellor and do general maintenance to the engine and lower foot before even trying to start it... Do a little reading on here about what others have done first before trying to start yours.
