I have purchsed a 1966 ? 16'Larson Lapline with<br />Mercrusier I/O <br />Would like to find info about this boat<br />and motor .<br />any info! <br /> tims@saber.net

Good luck in your search! Good boat. My father bought a 1966 19' version when I was a kid. Had a 225 Buick v-6 ALUMINUM engine. Spent many a hour in it over the years. Late eighties had to replace motor and floor (age and water got to it). Mid nineties transom seal tore (age again). Spent many an hour looking for new seal - Larson absolutely no help, claimed they didn't make a Lapline in 1966. Last year my father gave up and donated the boat Sea Scouts.

Thanks <br />I have been all over the NET, and your right<br />Larson is realy no help. <br />I did find out some history about Larson<br />seems Mid 1966 some big changes where going on.<br />Even checked out Glasstron. Some in '67/'68 look<br />close but have Glasstron logo.<br />I don't have the boat in my possestion as of yet<br />but will be towing it home today 12/31/02.<br />I bought it at a Salvation Army auction ($300.00)<br />Every thing is complete has been in storage since<br />1980 (last time it was reg.)Well thanks for the input I'll keep trying.
