1965 west bend 45 hp lower unit seals

how hard is it to replace the lower unit gaskets? is it easily done by the weekend amatuer grease moneky? probly will attempt this by myself........i'm not afraid to get dirty....just hope i don't mess anything up!!!

Complication factor is a high medium. You will need a manual first. Pretty hard to do this without one. You will need to also order a seal kit. I have some photos of the lower unit. If you are interested email me at ralgoetz@comcast.net. The seal kit is available however the gasket that separates the upper and lower unit is not. If you need one I have an original that I make duplicates from using gasket paper.
