I bought a boat two days ago couldnt run it but the guy said it ran great so i took a gamble and bought the boat bc for 500 dollars it was a steal. Anyways i got home hooked some muffs up to it. Got new gas and tried to start it, nothing. I went to oreilyauto to rent a compression tester all cylinder looked good 100+ in each and i know its getting fuel bc it was coming out of carbs. I checked for spark which is the only thing left to make an engine run and every cylinder nothing so i am thinking a coil or dist. I really dont know how to test these bc im not good at ignition
