i have a 65 evinrude big twin 40 hp and all the controls with it the only thing wrong is the upper crank bearing needs replacement i want to sell it any ideas on what price i should ask for?

Probably not worth trying to sell, darkclown. For parts, maybe, or part it out and sell what works.

People give them away when anything is wrong because it usually costs more to fix than it is worth running.
