I have a 1965 clinton and need a picture of what it should look like. I was told that it is a 5 hp,and it runs great.I would like to get it back to the original color if i can find a picture of one.Thanx for any help.

You know, I don't know, and I've done a pretty extensive search for a photo for you.<br /><br />However, I do have an idea for you. There's a seller on eBay that offers the shop manuals for all Clinton outboard on a CD. They're only $9.95, and you'll want the manual for your motor in any case.<br /><br />Search eBay for "VINTAGE CLINTON OUTBOARD MASTER MANUAL SET CD" (no quotes), and it will come up for you. <br /><br />I doubt that the photos will be in color, but you'll get an idea. I think the cowlings were white.
