1964 Sea King Fiberglass boat

Just picked up a 1964 Sea King 14 ft fiberglass boat project. The hull is is very good condition as well as the transom floor etc.. $125.00 My question is there was no coast guard plate does anyone have an idea of how big of motor would work well in this boat ? The owner said there was a 25hp on it at one time. I was thinking maybe a 40hp would be max. ?

Very similar in size to mine. Looks like a short shaft too. 25-30 would be optimum.

before you spend one dime on it get the title and paper work right or its a yard planter.
