What Remote Control would have been original equipment for my 1964 Mercury 85hp outboard? Would it make a difference if my boat is a 1965 model - I'm the second owner of this 1965 Fiberform, and the original owner is an older gent that just doesn't remember all the details over the years. He is 100% sure that he never changed motors, but may have put a different remote control on it in the early 1970s.
