I need to replace the points & condenser on this motor but the repair manual says I need a Dwell plate to set the points right. Is this correct or is there a way of tuning this motor without one? The Mercury dealers will not sell me a Dwell plate. Any help on this issue would be appreciated.
Thank You
Harold

Set the points at a tight .010 and have fun.
