1964 lark 8 selectric shift 40hp shifting problems

Hi I’m new to the forums but I was hoping to be able to get some help on this new motor I got. It runs great and everything but when I got it I didn’t get the shift controls or anything. So I was looking to see if anybody knew how to make your own or what else would work for shifting controls. Thanks

Do you have the junction box with regulator ?-----Your location ?

No all I have is the motor the guy I got it from had nothing but the motor so I was hoping their would be a way to make one or atleast a diy switch board but I can’t find a for sure answer on what wires do what and I’m In Illinois

You can find a wiring diagram online.-----But search on E-bay for the bits you need.
