1964?? Johnson 35 Javelin Fuel Mix Help ME!!

I just got a 1964 boat with a Johnson 35 Javelin.
I could not find a model number but did find a number 376920.
The motor case is gold in color.
How do I find the right fuel mix.
I can take a pic and send it if that will help.

its a steel cover right?thats 57 or 58 .1956 was 30 hp ,if i remember correctly 59 was glass?gold could mean you have a golden javlin which is highly sought after by us oldie lovers.post a picture.oh by the way 24:1 mixture.check out the old-omc site i think you will like it.follow the link to 1958 and does yours look like one of those 3 goldies?http://www.old-omc.de/start.html

Yes it has a steel cover. It is gold and says javelin 35.

That is good to know it's a good find. I got the boat, trailer and motor for $150.
I am excited to get this on the water.. My first boat.
Time to go fishing. Woot Woot...

it might be best to go through that motor closely you certianly dont want to damage it ,it,s too nice a find to just go rushing off fishing no matter how badly you want to do it ,trust me.been there and got the novel if you know what i mean.thats a steel for a golden javelin in my books ,post pics and fire away with any questions bud.
