1963 Starcraft 18' ?

1st time posting.

Just bought this 1963 Starcraft 18' which has merc 1000 " Tower of Power " and the old low style trailer. I took a few pics before the rain started ,I didn't find the Id plate / sticker but I do know that the floor and transom was redone in the 80ish.
I looked over some brochures and pics and it looks like a Holiday ? The windshield is off and port side end cap mounting is gone and the glass is broken.

Any help would be great .

Thanks, the hall has 1 small scratch on port side and it's looks to be never been painted before.

I'll start the rebuild in a few weeks or so.

For a new windshield start looking for a donor, myself and a few others found that those 3/5 piece windshields are pretty universal (see my Jet & Chief).
and the curve of the front has lots of give once you start tighting the bolts down, and for the windshield mounting bolts; toilet mounting bolts + grinder works great.

nice hull. yes, definitely a Holiday as it stands, but you can build the hull into whatever you want, cept maybe a sailboat.

I put a 5 piece on mine, not as easy as it was for Gibbles. I had to play around a lot with it to get it fit decently.

Please ignore his toilet bolts. If the glasser guys see that - OMG. :laugh: If you can't find T-bolts, then OK. Buy don't tell.

I learned that trick from a glasser!

On my Jet I spent a ton of time grinding the heads off of stainless bolts, screw that!!

oh yeah, I have 4 starcrafts in my yard right now... yes one is going to canada this weekend, but 4 tin boats!!

This is getting turned into the family fishing boat , yes it's getting a a total make over and this is some what how it's going to look like with a few changes.
