1963 Mercury 9.8 hp --Plug wires

Ok, Ok, I know anyone with any sense would WRITE down which wire came off which plug, but no not me!!! Somehow (?) it got lost up there..( another Senior moment???) Can anyone tell me which plug the wire with the orange band goes on. Bottom or top?? Thanks again for the previous answer and for this one

My guess is it goes on top.Try it if no luck try the other way on a 2 cylinder its easy to get it right. Theres only 2 ways and one will work.<br />Good luck.
