1963 Evinrude 75Hp Starflight Does turns over Does not Ignite

Happy Mothers Day.....<br /><br />We took our boat to the ramp today, got it in the water and put the motor down in the water, primed the motor, and turned it over with full choke. <br /><br />It turned over, but would not start. Got it out of the water. Got it home, cleaned the plugs, rotor and contacts, tried it again....and the starter would turn the motor over but it would not ignite.<br /><br />Any one have any suggestions for what to try next?<br /><br />Thanks<br />Cville Newbies

spark? fuel in cylinder? compreshion? timing? here in one of these areas you will find the problem first step find wich area is lacking
