ser. 752557 mod. td 20 1962 ohio outboard,when I<br />push the prime the gas comes out the top of the<br />primer on the carb, and was interested in a manuel<br />for it.

Hi Dave<br />If you indeed have a model TD20 it was made around 1948-49. I don't know where to get a repair manual for this model. you might try the public library. Maybe in the refrence section,if they have the info they will let you copy it for a small fee. It sounds like you need to remove,disassemble and clean the carb and priming system. There is a check valve under the primer plunger that is probably gummed up. These are fairly simple little motors and easy to work on.

While you may need to service the carb my very limited expierence with the TD20 is when you push the prime button gas will come out the top.<br />Its kind of the way you tell it is primed.
