When I got the boat the engine wouldn't run. Finally got it going. Now I need to hook up the "kill switch" the WHITE WIRE goes to the switch under the flywheel. What does that switch do? Second question is the Tach wire (BLACK), and "kill switch" wire (THE OTHER BLACK) is the Vacumme switch that actually "chokes the engine off" right?? I have to manually choke the engine to get it off now, and my ignition switch is so old I can't read the terminals anymore. I'm hoping there may be a diagram out there that shows the wiring of this? Or some feedback? Thanks again for all and any who read this! Thanks. D OH, Btw it's a Magneto system.....

the "kill switch" was simple. a wire ran to each set of points. By connecting the two wires together with a switch it grounded the two sets of points and the motor died. There is no tach wire. You would need to go with something like a tiny tach on that. http://www.tinytach.com/tinytach/gasoline.php
