1961 Merc 50HP throttle connections??

Hello everyone,

I have a 1961 Merc 500 (50 HP). Ive had the carbs rebuilt, new prop gaskets, and rewiring done. The motor has already been rebuilt. I am pretty much ready to go but I need to attach the shift cables into the outboard. I have NO idea how to do this. Ive messed with the shift controls inside the motor a little bit and now the shifting one wont move. It got stuck somehow. Is there anyone out there that can help me with this. Ive attached some pics of the motor and I will post more of the connections themselves.
