If you're looking for strictly function, then any tiller handle/throttle assembly from about 1956 (5.5/7.5/10/15 & 18 hp model Evinrude and Johnsons) onwards would fit your motor. If you're looking for asthetically correct, then I think you're limited to just a couple of years either side of your '61. <br /> If you can root around a long-established marina (helps to be in good with the management!) you should be able to find one locally. You want the one with the ball gears on the end of the throttle shaft, not the pointed gears. If not, try placing and ad at the Antique Outboard Motor Club site in their Webvertise section...
