1961 Johnson 40 model RDSL 22 carburetor kit

Does anyone know the part number for a carburetor kit for a 1961 Johnson 40 model RDSL 22 that includes a float made from the new black material and not cork. My carb is puking gas and has to be float or dirty needle valve and I don't want to get stuck paddling a second time. I would even take just the new float part number.

No such thing as a black Nitrophyl float for that motor. But don't be afraid of the new cork floats. The are coated with a different material than the old ones were and are Ethanol resistant.

OEM kit number (with cork float) is 0439074. Aftermarket Sierra Marine number (no float) is 18-7010

BTW, that model number RDSL-22 is a 1960 model

Thanks for the replies F_R. I am sure you are correct about the year model. My parents have had the motor since new but through the years it has been rebuilt more than once and is now a combination of at least 3 engines.
