I have just replaced my points with Stens MegaFire 2 (440-465) ignition modules. I connected one to each coil but I do not have spark. I've tried reversing the polarity also because I read that can be the problem with no spark situation. That didn't work either. I'm not sure if I'm supposed to use the black kill wire or not. Currently I have the green coil wire and the black ignition kill wire connected to the positive blade of the ignition module and the negative blade is grounded to the motor. I wonder if the ignition kill wire is the problem. Should I just take that off. I used the same wiring configuration I had with the points and condenser. Any insight would be great.

Since a Stens MegaFire2 ignition module is not something found on engines of this or any other production run, I suggest you check to see if the unit is compatible with magneto ignitions, double check your installation, and if need be contact the manufacturer for support
