I have a 5 hp outboard that had bulging coils and no spark, then i found 2 coils that looked brand new off another evinrude and replaced points and condensers with new ones.-still no spark--second set of coils could be bad but wanted to know how does the engine stop,does it ground out when u turn to stop????/ the plate may be hooked up wrong which in turn may be grounding the spark all of the time.will buy coils if needed as they are only 14 dollars but wanted to check problem first/. <br />thanks steve b.<br /><br />--------------------
