1959 kiekhaefer mark 75a issues

I just got this motor, and it came with an empty lower unit... there's a few parts but i have no idea what i'm doing so... i'm wondering if anyone has any links to buy a fully assembled one, or a place (in michigan) where i could give them this shell for an assembled one and some cash.

BAM Marine site has good on line parts manuals for that engine but if you plan on doing much of the maintenance yourself you will need the Mercury Manual #90-25500 sometime you can save some money on ebay when you have the part number. You will find that some repairs require special tools that a lot of the shops don't have or the personal that know how to repair the direct reversing engines. Don't beleive all the stories that float around about those engines when properly tuned they ran very well.

Check the classifieds at aomci dot org. Might also check their chapter/club page to see if there is one near you having a swap meet soon...spring is coming.
