Anyone know the actual size and thread type for a 1959 Alumacraft?
It is definitely NOT the normal 1/2" or 3/8" square head brass pipe thread fitting that fit most transom drain plugs. It measures approximately 5/8" but threads looks wider almost like a plastic paint roller end. Check out this link to old Alumacraft brochure: http://online.anyflip.com/jtji/zbjy/mobile/index.html#p=1
