Can anyone tell me where the red wire goes from the rectifier or what it does? I bought the boat and the harness was severed and I have gotten the engine to turn over without connecting that wire. Is there a bad reprocussion for not hooking that wire up? Also I was to polish the prop and I am curious if I need any special tools or replacement parts such as codder pins or bearings? Any other tips would be greatly helpful in rebuilding this motor. Thank you for your input everyone and have a Merry Christmas.
