1957 Fastwin 18 Lower Unit Lube

I have been searching this forum but haven't found the answer.
I just purchased a boat yesterday with this outboard and I need to know what lube I need for the lower unit. Thanks in advance.

These just take a high viscosity gear lube, available at your local marine supply dealor. You may want to get a hand pump, because you need to pump it in from the bottom, until it runs out the top hole. When it runs out, put the top plug in and then remove the attachment, for the hand pump. Also, be sure to replace the gaskets for the two plugs.
