Hi guys. I have an old '57 Big Twin 35hp that Im wanting to restore. My first question is, what is the correct color for this motor? Second, it seems to me that this motor is pretty popular. Is there a good place on the web to find parts? Thanks.

Rick

For colors you will need a model#. Paint is easy to come by. Parts are a dime a dozen for these motors. A couple of hundred bucks can get you a pick-up load of parts motors.

Hi Rick,
Take a look at my profile - there's a link to my website. On the site, under the toys section you'll see a picture of my 1957 Big Twin toy outboard from K&O. It's pretty close to what you want your "real" engine to look like. Dark blue with white and black trim... Best bet would be to search eBay for a '57 brochure or some ads. With the exception of the 35hp Lark, and the 3hp Ducktwin, all the other motors in the line from 1957 will have basically the same color scheme.
- Scott

25930 means 1957 35 horse evinrude, but you knew that already.
