1956 Starcraft Speedster

While I was in college, I found a steal on what I was told was a 1956 Starcraft Speedster. The guy I bought it from said he found the original paint specs and repainted it. Currently it is a bright red and white. He gave me brackets for a windshield but I don't think they actually go to my boat. Now that I am out of college and working a family, I ready to get it running again. Does anyone have any photos of a 1956 or 1958 for me to compare? Thanks.

welcome to da mob. you might look in the tinnie section on Fiberglassics.com as they're likely to have more old brochures. failing that, i doubt the windshields etc changed all that much by the early 60s....they didn't need to. you'll likely find that a windshield from a later model of similar size can be made to fit, and some folks on here are replacing their curved plexi screen with later-model square glass with walk-through, so there might be some old plexi ones available. post some pics of your boat and we can be more help.
