Question Where would i get orginal " holiday bronze paint for this motor, thanks for any replys

If you take an unfaded part from under the hood to an appropriately equipped autobody supplier, they can scan it and match it quite close. They can even put it in an aerosol can.

That site tmcalavy posted is great. I didnt end up buying anything from them when I redid my motor, but they had some great links for finding hard to find parts.

Thanks for replies I saw that website nymarine cool, i ordered this motor will be getting it this week, I had 1958 10 johnson, and 18 hp evinrude 1957 when i was about 14 years old, now i wanted to get that motor back, they are really cool motors and you don't that many around like i did in the eary 1970's !d:)

The ’56 motor in my pic above was painted w/Pittsburg Omni AE, a single stage acrylic enamel with hardner. It was mixed by my local auto paint dealer who "read" the color from an original, good '56 7.5hp Johnson. I know it was original because I remember when my father bought it new. It's always been kept indoors and not exposed to the weather. The formula generated by the "read" is as follows:
M132--> 43.8
M106--> 47.2
M125--> 22.2
M108--> 25.0
M118--> 5.1
M102--> 10.1
M103--> 359.3
Please note: The proportions are weight, not volume.
