Does anyone know the the torque specification for the oil pan bolts on a 1956 ford 312 marine interceptor? I've searched all over and come up with nothing.

Why did my thread get moved? I am finishing the "repair" of the engine and need a little help. Now it is in a forum with one person viewing vs the repair forum with 80 viewing. It's not a big deal, just doesn't make sense to me.

Thanks Rick, thats what we went with. It's actaully the thick cast aluminum marine style oil pan but given we are using the same cork gasket and sealant material we should be good to go. Thanks again.

Good,

I hope it works out....

Take some pictures of it and post them WE LOVE pictures!!

Those guys on http://www.y-blocksforever.com/forums will also LOVE to know what you're doing too! Have a look over there when you can. I think there's several people there with Y-block marine engines.
