1954 Orlando Clipper

I still have the 1954 Orlando Clipper that I won in a fishing contest in South Central Florida when I was 12 years old. I often wonder how many of these old boats still exist. I presently have it retired and put up and use a 17 ft Bass Tracker in Lake Seminole, SW Ga these days.

1st boat i was ever aboard, grandpop had one dont know what year 14' vbottom three bench seats across the gunnels, pink, tiller motor, used to hang in his boathouse on lake eustis, in tavares fl. even let me take it fishin by myself when i got to be 13, fished the whole harris chain of lakes on that boat, when he passed grandma said we could have 1 thing of his to remember him by i asked for the boat mtr trlr, she had already sold it to my uncle. broke my heart, i loved that boat, he still has it, solid as a rock.

oh yeah this one was fiberglass, he had it since 1966 that i can remember maybe longer.

Is your Clipper aluminum and does it still have windshield on it. I have the same boat, but need to get a windshield. Would love to see picture of your boat to make comparisons. Also, any info. you can provide as to where I can obtain need parts would be appreciated.

Does anyone know where to get a really good image or replica of the Orlando Clipper logo that was oval shaped and adhered to the back gunnel of the aluminium boats? I would love to put the logo back on my 1965 16 foot Orlando Clipper.

I have a 18 foot fiberglass clipper a guy I work with gave to me for free. I'm in the process of gutting and redesigning the interior of it now.
