1953 Evinrude 15HP and 25 HP tiller handle interchangeable?

I have a 25HP 53 johnson with a broken tiller handle, I was looking to get it welded but see a 53 15HP handle on ebay and was wondering if they are interchangeable? The part actually broken is the handle you would attach the steering to (u shaped) notreally the tiller itself. Thank you for your time
