1951 sea king boat

i recently purchased a 11.5' seaking boat and wondering how good of a boat they are and if anyone has any help on figuring out who made them and production #s

I assume that's an aluminum boat you have. The Sea King aluminum boats were made by Starcraft, and are actually quite good in quality. I have one, and really like it a lot.

Most don't have drainplugs, though. I added a nylon one to mine. Still, it has crossmembers that prevent compete drainage of the boat, so I'm not sure it makes a lot of difference.
